Your Role at San.Té
As a Barista at San.Té, you bring the ritual to life. You work with focus, flow and finesse, transforming premium matcha into a refined sensory experience for every guest.
In this role, you will:
- Craft and serve ceremonial matcha drinks with consistency, accuracy and visual elegance.
- Execute clean, refined latte art with confidence (hearts, tulips, soft waves).
- Steam both dairy and plant-based milk to a smooth, velvety microfoam.
- Work with intention and precision, understanding balance, temperature and texture.
- Take ownership of bar equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated and ready at all times.
- Share the story behind our matcha, its Japanese origin and preparation rituals.
- Keep the bar and workspaces spotless, calm and well-organised.
- Collaborate with a proactive team that values hospitality, rhythm and attention to detail.
You Are
- A skilled barista with hands-on experience in milk texturing, latte art and equipment care.
- Passionate about drinks, craftsmanship and presentation.
- Genuinely interested in Japanese matcha culture and mindful rituals.
- Calm under pressure, detail-focused and naturally welcoming.
- Flexible and available to work weekends.
- Fluent in Dutch and comfortable communicating in English.
